This years Orphan
He was standing along side of the road beside his momma who had been killed by a car. He is eating well and follows us around worse than a pup! LOL
Re: This years Orphan

Re: This years Orphan
The old fox hunters here used to keep deer in the pens with their hounds. The idea was that they would not chase one if they lived with one. I saw a buck in with a pen full of young dogs playing like he was one of the boys. His ears were torn up from wrestling with them.Joeyman wrote:that is so freakin cool. That ought to be fun. Sam,
Thanks for the tip. I have raised a few and was aware of washcloth deal. One of the not so fun parts of raising them.
All, thanks for the comments. The last one I raised would follow me to the kennels when I fed. I was sitting in the chair last night eating a big tenderloin sandwich and petting the deer. Wife didn't think it was very funny...LMAO!
