He was standing along side of the road beside his momma who had been killed by a car. He is eating well and follows us around worse than a pup! LOL

The old fox hunters here used to keep deer in the pens with their hounds. The idea was that they would not chase one if they lived with one. I saw a buck in with a pen full of young dogs playing like he was one of the boys. His ears were torn up from wrestling with them.

just a word of advice.. i found with fawns if you take a wash cloth and wipe there butts it stimulates them to poop if they get bound up.. we had a few die till we figured this out. best of luck hope every thing turns out well..'

Thanks for the tip. I have raised a few and was aware of washcloth deal. One of the not so fun parts of raising them.

All, thanks for the comments. The last one I raised would follow me to the kennels when I fed. I was sitting in the chair last night eating a big tenderloin sandwich and petting the deer. Wife didn't think it was very funny...LMAO!
