The last few weeks we have found 2 that were dead, not chewed on or half ate, just deader than adoor nail laying on the side of 4 wheeler trails, is anybody having this problem? is it the heat, snakes,or ticks/fleas killing them? just curious, thanks!

Cats. They kill just to kill. I'd be pulling out the .410 pistol and take care of the problem.

I have had the same experience with finding dead rabbit in my starter pen. No sign of stress or injury, not a hair out of place, just dirty rear ends suggestive of coccidia. Older rabbits also died but I think that to be natural causes since life expectancy is about 16 months at most. In my case, I doubt it to be house cats, although I kill any I see in my pen. Cats will usually take the rabbit to their homes and there may or mayno eat it. My guess is that some disease or virus went through the rabbit population this year. I dislike having to go back to stocking the pen with semi-domesticated bunnys.

Fleas and ticks.
Suck the life out of a rabbit with no marks.
