Opens tomorrow here in NY... I'll get out on saturday and shoot a couple. I have a ten month old male that i can't wait to shoot one for, the others are veterans. We'll go north for hare in the winter.

anytime would be cool with me. early november 5th 6th or 7th try and do a two day hunt. that way we can try different places. $11 a day for non-resident small game. you'll have to come up with a way to house hounds i'm sure you got a way to do that.

Nov 13-15th i'll be bambi hunting. after that is back to rabbit whacking. the further into october we get the more for sure I will know. like where to go and what days. but early november seems good. if you can stay out here for the weekend. even a friday saturday deal or something. or sat/sun that way we'll go to different places I know.
You have a PM Joey.

Wow, thick, thick, thick.
did i mention it was thick.
we ran for 3 hours or so.
our normal spot had not been cut yet.
you could hardly walk it was arm pit deep.
wore uncle out pretty quick.

but we did manage to get run 3 and harvest 2.
the rookies did very well.
they got thier first taste of blood and fur.
very happy, it was a great day.
they are a bit out of shape tho.
after they was watered, fed, and we cleaned
a couple of them was snoring befor we left the parking lot.

Joey, how did yall do today?
who eles went and how did ya do?

Thick is an understatement and green too lol.Ran 5 today and the ranged from looking like they just come out of the nest to 1/2 grown. They would get in the standing beans and take forever to come out. Finally winged one just so the dogs could get a taste of fur. After I hit it they ran it down.I'm going to leave this spot for at least a couple of weeks before I run there again.I think with all the rain and flooding this summer, they are making up for lost time lol.Still a lot of crops in the fields and the rabbits haven't been run out of them yet. With this good weather the farmers arte getting after it,but still alot of fields are too wet to get into.
