I'll certainly miss talking to Bernard. He was a gentlman and a competitor at the trials. He was a serious breeder and produced many good rabbit dogs. One of my favorites was FC Mountain State Foxfire. She was out of Murphy's Buddy Mt. State Flag. Buddy was out of Joacyn's Sweet William ( FC Northbend Billy Grimshaw X IFC Madge Scott)
Hopefully Bernard will be reunited with a pack of his dogs that preceded him.

I talked some with Bernard and have a little of his bloodline in my kennel. He was a nice , well spoken man with outstanding knoweldge of the beagle in all aspects. This is a true loss to the beagling community.

My thoughts are with his family. I spoke with him and had heard of him, but never had the chance to run with him and his hounds. I have his # laying on my desk right now as I told him when the weather cooled down I would be calling him to go run some hounds. I heard NOTHING but good things of him and his hounds. He was a wealth of knowledge and a real pleasure to talk to. Again, my prayers are with his family and friends.
