Catron's Kennel
Any body on here ever bought or hunted with any hound from Catron's Kennel? If so what was the likes and dislikes??
Re: Catron's Kennel
YES sir. My best male was from Catrons Kennel. Go to my website go under my dogs section. You will see him. His name was Pistol. He died of some tick born illness. He was a good dog.
And I hunted with them about 3 years ago. Every dog on the ground hunted hard. We hunted swampers and it was fun.

Just bought a 4 yr old female from catrons kennels, she seems to hunts as danny said she would, only have had her out twice, and today she had to run on snow and ice which I am sure she didnt get too much of, and she jumped 2 rabbits, she is the second dog on my video from my post earlier, joeyman had a male from them, that i believed he really liked.

Re: Catron's Kennel
We have bought several dogs off of him through the years, 5-6 maybe? The 1st dog we bought from them was an open marked white dog called Buck, gave a fair price, I believe $400. That dog was the 2nd best jump dog and all around rabbit machine we have owened! You couldn't have asked for much better. We have bought the rest since, we do not have them anymore, I will not talk bad about this kennel, the other dogs were fair, just not up to the 1st one, plus I think that I am a little hard to please! But that Buck dog was the real deal!!! My hunting partner has done all of the dealings with them, I will say that they seem genuinely concerned about your satisfaction, as they would always call him on occasion to see how we liked the dogs.
