Hay guys is breeding realy all that it has been made up to be or is it just a chance that you cross two good running dogs and one of the pups are good and the rest are just a hope and a pray that they might be good. I am on to some sunset scooter cross and out of six litters cross to him their is a total of twenty pups on the ground. Seen all but two start and run and they are all doing great BUT ONE

that one has not seen the running time that he needs

So that said

YOU GUYS TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK

AND TELL ME ABOUT YOUR CROSS'S AND WHAT THEY PRODUCE.
I realy think that it is a shame that pepole breed just a good dog to a fair dog and tell every one how great that the parents are to the pups.

When in the truth is they never run them both enough to see if they where good or not and they never made this cross befor that moment.
But that said

just cause they are I.F.C. does not mean they will throwe great pups

one litter does not mean much

but six litters

THAT IS PROVING SOMTHING don't you agree ????

By the way the sir to these crosses is dead he was one awsome dog with a pack or by himself long live the memory of PLEASANT VALLEY LITTLE COUNTRY and thanks to the guy who run him enough to see what he was made of [Mr.LONNIE ASHER] The fact that he let others breed to this dog with out charge the normal 200.00 or 300.00 fee is one of the meany reason thier are some great dogs in my kennel today [thanks again Mr. Lonnie Ashier ]
Thier are others out thier that should be thanking him but that is thier JOB

not mine

So if you are reading this buy now you can see that i think good dogs just happen But great dogs take a lot of time and money both are very hard to come by this day and time.
great dogs like pleasant valley little rebba or pleasant valley Hooch just to name a few.

Roomer has it that Lonnie has more great dogs coming in the future
Great job Mr. Ashier looking forward to seeing them run.
F.Y.I. if you plan to run with him you better bring your best and they better be in GREAT SHAPE or you will get your

kick by some great dogs.
kepp them coming LONNIE

My proven producer is Rose City Gumi. She has been bred once, she had 1 pup and it had a head and all 4 legs........
She didn't have any males so I can't do a mother X son cross yet to lock in those good traits........
In all seriousness, Selection is the key.......we just all use a different criteria for selection........sometimes you find a few guys that agree, and those end up being your running buddies......
The traits your selecting for will greatly determine which dogs you consider producers......Nose, brains and desire top my list of traits and dogs that produce them make my list.......

FC Woodstock Black Cher Bred to NTLFC Woodstock Granppy was the
best for us here and the offspring are also producing , all linebreds
we dont claim to produce all FC nor do we care , we want just good rabbit dogs
and that is where we are at right now and have been for years

Cinnamon Run Honey has been mine. Ive had good luck with her pups crossed on 4 different males. I hope to get another litter or 2 out of her in the next couple of years. Im very excited about her next litter, and will most likely keep them all.

I would say Fox s Creek Nikki. 2 litters put her in the hall of fame reproducer. It says something when more than half of them won state hunts and big fives with a world hunt win.

Sweetrun's Little Lilly, a linebred Indian Hill's and Dingus female I own. I had two pups off of her first litter and they are both turning out to be very nice. She will be hopefully bred again later this spring. She is just a real solid hound with a pedigree to produce with anything. The one year old I have off of her now is a hard going female that is showing signs of having some serious skills and is well rounded like her mother!!

Logan Elm Neal has worked for me. His sire, Sexton's Hobo is in the ARHA Reproducer HOF and I hope Neal can join him down the road.
