we are feeding purina Pride, weve tried black gold and diamond and all the other dog foods and pride just really slicks the dogs up you can feed them a coffee cup size amount and they stay in good weight and they have tons of energy and stamina on it. It's the best food weve found so far.

Taste of the Wild (Bison) 32/21 year around. Just cut the amount a little in summer.

Have you fed the EVO red meat or the Taste of the Wild. Can't Imagine you if you have that Pride was better. Evo is rediculously expensive. When I checked on it thy want $78 for 26# bag I think.

I feed Pride orange bag , According to how much I run. it takes 3 cups a day to make my dogs look right. Sometimes they still get a little thin and I up it a little. That may sound like a lot but I run them 25 - 40 hours a week , Depending on if I run morning and night. When running is cut back due to snakes I switch to Pride black bag. Usually 1 1/2 - 2 cups daily is suffecient then. I Tried dog chow when im not running much and the dogs looked good on 2 cups daily. I just didnt like the stool.

Diamond Hi-Energy (24/20) then in the summer I mix in a 20 lb. bag of the Maintenance formula to cut the fat.

The Best dog food I've ever used is Taste of the Wild. It's expensive but the dogs coats and energy levels are amazing. It's about $50 for a 30 pound bag here.

I get it for $40 a 30# bag here. Last time TSC had 10% off so $36 a bag. I feed less than the other brands which offsets some of the cost. Overall, I think its a little more expensive, but with only feeding 2-4 dogs it's probly only $5-10 more a month.

I am a member at Cosco and I feed Kirkland Brand all year. My Lab and 2 beagles are doing great on it. It may sound like a cheap brand but it is considered a quality dog food at a competitive price. (about $23 for 40 pounds). Here is a web site that I found interesting. Good to compare other foods, you may be surprised at some of the ratings and reasoning for them.
