What rabbit gun(s) do you hunt with? I use either my 20 ga. double barrel or my 22 semi auto. Sometimes I will pull out a 410 single shot. What ya'll use?

i have severl but my favorite is an old 410 dbl. 26 in full chockes thats the best 410 i ever owned. solid as arock

Thompson Center Contender -410 with 14" barrel. 3"- Federal #5's shoot the best but are hard to find, next choice is 3"Remington #6's mainly cause they are very easy to find and shoot decent.Truthfully though I shoot very little, maybe one or two rabbits a year. Game is scarce through the winter months around me, and I would rather just run the dogs.

Gun of choice this season was Canon Power Sot SX120, and I only killed (wounded) one hare this season, dogs had to finish it . I would like to try a Comanche 410 next season and try to kill a few for some young dogs, I carry enough crap the way it is and figure the pistol would be lighter than a long gun.

ruger 10/22, remington 870 20 ga. , franchi 12 ga. i like the 20 for the weight but same loads as 12 ga is $4 more a box. so i usually man up and carry the extra weight.

For my birthday last November, I got my first gun a mossberg 500 20 guage , haven't shot any rabbits yet with it, but I plan to this coming season.

Depends on my mood. It's one of the following on any given day:
SKB 20 ga. semi auto 26" imp cyl
ithica 20 ga. double barrel 24" with one barrel mod. the other imp cyl
Davidson .410 double barrel 24" both full choke.

BigStrutter, I am like you, I will take a diff. one on diff. days. Just depends on what I feel like. I might take a 16 ga. single shot, 12 ga. pump or single shot, 410 single shot, my 22 semi auto, or a 20 ga. pump or 20 ga. double barrel or 20 ga. single shot. lol....I feel like a lot of different things. Just depends where I am hunting. I really like my 20 ga. double barrel and my 22 semi auto.

Early part of the season I use a Spanish 20 ga. sxs choked Cyl.& I.C. Latter part of the season I use a Ithaca model 37 20 ga. pump choked Mod.
