When your using a stud and the fee is $200. Do you give them 200 at the time of the breeding or after the pups have arrived? Also if its at the time of the breeding, what happens if your female didn't take? Do you get your money back or hows it work?

For most, its at the time of breeding, and the stud owner should give you a return breeding within a year to same female in case of a miss.. Thats the regular, but Im sure all kinds of deals are made between owners.

You pay at time of breeding. It up to the agreement that you make with the stud owner, in case of a miss. Generally it is recognized that you get a rebreed if you don't get two living pups. Ask before you make the trip is the best policy.
