Older dog snapping at young dog

[*]hey guys , question. My older female 11, started snaping,attacking her 5 yr old daughter for no reason. She is up to date on all shot, wormed etc. she is still great with my family, but this atacking for no reason puzzles me. Also she has never growled at any other dog in her 11yrs.

I think older hounds are like older people---they get crabby. I know I have way more pains at 50 than I did at 30 and I'd say its sucks for the hounds also.
