I have heard 4 dogs was the best number to run in a pack to gunhunt, just wondering peoples thoughts on the best number, how many is to many or can you run to many.

Never enough. Just a matter of taste. I like as many as possible so the competition is highest.

I generally take 16-18 each time out. All of them are from this kennel, which makes a huge difference in the running. When hounds are used to running regularly together, they truly work as a pack, not a collection of dogs. That reminds me....I need to make out my list of who is going in the morning!
