Is it pretty notorious for linebred branko dogs to get pretty tall? Ive heard alot of people say that branko dogs are normally very tall being 15 to 16 1/2 inches tall sometimes. Just wondering if it is true? I have a linebred branko male and im glad he stopped growing when he did because he is 15 flat!

Had a couple close but not over.

I've found that the more you linebreed Prop/Jack the more 13's you get.

The more you linebreed/inbreed any line of dogs the smaller they get. The ears shorten up and the overall size goes down, not up.

I believe it depends on what dog or dogs in the pedigree that are linebred upon.
Their size, ear length ect.
If your line has multiple crosses of a 16" dog you'll prob get more size.
The Patch hounds seem to be fairly tall for being inbred.
But then the weir creeks and black creeks are more toward 13" or less.

My buddy has some tight linebred weircreeks (87.5%) that have ears like bassetts and are full 15"! lol
