Another one of the good one's left this world before I was ready..... Martin's Smokey Dream was found with his head stuck in a culvert. He was one of the best jump dog's I have ever been to the field with. And will be greatly missed this winter come rabbit season. I have seen him demolish casts.... I really thought he was going to win a big one soon. But I guess it was not in his cards... He was a real rabbit dog and it's a shame that he had to go at such a young age. I know he is up in that big briar patch in the sky running along some of the great ones. You will be greatly missed.......... :angryfire:

He is a littermate to My demon dog,Jimbo,Miles,and Sandman Dream team took a big hit today!

David, sorry for your loss Smokey was the real deal, ran a rabbit with confidence and power not to mention a heck of a jump dog. :(

Brian I sure hate to hear about this. I bet David is really hurting. I really liked Smoke and I too thought he would win a big hunt soon. It seems like every time someone is offered big money for a hound and they turn it down something like this happens. David if you happen to read this I am hurting for you. I know how much you loved him. RIP Smoke

Well that sucks. Didnt know i do know that smoke was a true jump dog , david i am so sorry for your loss.And yes the team just lost the best jump dog of the bunch.

Sorry to hear about Davids dog, I judged him back in the spring at carlisle and he destroyed the cast..........
