Anyone else got a pup out of this cross? My male is 7 months old now , he is running and opening with a pack. Just curious about how the others are doing.

Ya I picked up a male and was running him with my pup trainer (old female) and another butkus/sundown female pup I got thats about 2 and 1/2 months older and he's been doing good. My pup trainer can't keep up with them no more given shes pretty slow. So they have been runing together for the last few months and been doing good seems to have a big nose and good speed has started jumping them pretty good last couple times out. Keeps up with and even leads the butkus pup at times (got a good competion going between them) and she's wild as ever lol and turning into a real good dog. Over all i would say hes going to be pretty good have never had any problems with him and he always stays busy even at four and a half months when we started him and seems to hate rabbits. I just joined this board so i'll get a pic maybe even video of him on here in the next day or two if you want to see him.

Yeah I would like to see a pick. I did not get mine until he was 6 months, but he is starting to come around. Here's a picture of mine.

Haha, you should have seen the look I got when she walked in the kitchen and I asked her to take the picture.

I made this cross and the pups are turning out very nice. I have a bluetick female that is very nice at 7 months old. All other pups out of this cross that i know of are doing very well at a young age. Hillbilly Blues throws very nice hounds better get one if you can.

I am happy with my pup. He is really starting to come around nice. He jumped a rabbit and picked up a short check today. I was very happy to say the least.

I HAVE A BLUETICK MALE OUT OF THAT CROSS I AM LIKING VERY WELL FOR HIS AGE.

I got 2 from Casey a lemon ticked male and a tri male. The lemon has been running for about 2 months lots of hunt and gets checks with 2 old dogs. The tri male had liver problems and had to be put down at 6 mon.

Any updates on the litter? I entered mine in his first lp hunt and he placed 5th! Really lookin' good!

Ya mines doing good not a real front runner but def a check dog deluxe gets almost all of mine, tuff hound loves to hunt gonna try to get him to a trial before too long

sounds alot like mine. hes might be a touch slow for lp but he cleaned up on the other dogs fixin alot of mistakes. good line control, decent foot, huge nose and real tight fast check work.
