It fits on the rack i had made for my snowmobile with 4 pin


It is insulated. It holds 2 to 3 beagles or one big hound. I do a little bobcat and coyote hunting to. It is custom made for me by barry at BMR Fabrication up here in maine he does great work. He also made the rack that it sits on.

Neat looking little box. If you find that it gets moisture build up or it gets too hot this style vent works awesome

There is a small slider tab in the middle that allows you to adjust to high airflow or no air flow at all....they are used on Patriot dog boxes.

Dont forget it is back there with your dogs in it. Could have more fun on that sled than your dogs can handle.

I am curious if you have ever talked to them about building a sled for the hounds that could be towed behind a snowmobile? Who is the guy to talk to from this shop? Nice looking setup. Thanks

the guy you would want to talk to is barry his number at the shop is 207-568-3178. He make some nice aluminum dog sleds to pull behind a snowmobile or atv i can get some pics for you if you want. The reason i wanted this setup is i go off trail a lot to where i hunt and didnt want to have a sled to get stuck in the snow. I do haul a dog sled though depending on how many people and dogs are going

Boy I really like that box and sled, bet ya its pretty lite. I have something similar but not that nice. It does work good getting to thoes back country places to hunt.
