rabbit season is over here in ky so i spent about9 hours on habitat improvements on sat.i cut a bunch of trees and burnt them. i will now stack some tree tops up around area and let honey suckle and briers take over. this summer will be planting some warm season grasses. i am looking to work on a few other farms this spring. ill get some pics posted to show progress later. what do the rest of you all do to help the bunnies out? any advise is appreciated.

I put out salt last spring, I learned that from others on here. It is suppose to help them during breeding season.

It seems to have worked, as our rabbits numbers are the same or up a little bit this year.

We gathered the Christmas trees that everyone's putting out for the city to pick up over the last few years to build cover. Then salt blocks under real thick cover so hawks aren't picking them off.

I put some salt and corn out this weekend. I am also going to make brush piles and let briars take over.
