I use the PPO wormer also, very good in my book. And you don't need to confirm which one your dog has (if you don't know) to make sure you use the right product, it does it all. I paid 3.25 a pill from Chip Eisenhut. Had them within the week.

Safeguard cattle wormer. Liquid form. It's a little pricey for the quart bottle, but you'll get a lot of doses out of it! In the long run, it will save you money! 1 ml per 5 lbs body weight,3 days in a row,one time a month!!!

I use Equimax horse wormer, the one with two types of ingredients instead of the cheaper one with only one. One click for a normal size beagle. Gets all worms. Costs 14.00 for about 12 clicks. Only give it the months flies are out.

Worming, a very common subject it seems. PPO wormer has no ingredient for the prevention of or eradication of heartworms , so will not prevent or kill all worms as some believe, but is a good broad spectrum wormer as is Drontal plus. Equimax, I give it monthly but it is not a broad spectrum wormer, It will prevent heartworms and eradicate tapeworms, it is not effective against Hook, Whip, and Roundworms as some believe.
