We had someone overseas who wanted to buy a pup from us 2 months ago, after checking with many licensed shippers - the average price was $2500 to $3500 just to ship one puppy! Of course the buyer backed out

I'm sure some people may be willing to pay that to ship a dog, but I know very few who would even consider paying that much to ship a Beagle.

i looked up a one way ticket for a person it was $2,500 .
so i told the man
my best guess was any where from $3,500 to $5,000.
so if that was in his price range to let me know.
i guess it depends how bad you want one.
he said he hunts hair.
i know he has contacted some others here in the states.

I had a guy contact me several years ago and wanted me to ship him a puppy. when I started to try to work out the specifics with him he told me he would send me a alot more money than it would cost and i could keep the extra. well it turned out to be one of those check scames. He clamed all I had to do was cash the check and his friend would stop by and pickup the puppy and the money for shipping. I did not feel well so i told the guy if he wanted the pup he had to show up and pay me cash for it and he could deal with the shipping. i never did hear from him after that

i had that in the back of my mind too.
i have seen it on here a couple times.
i told him he could just pay me for the pup and
work out the shipping himself, that he has accsess to the same stuff i do on the world wide web.
i dont want to burn up hours of my time for him to say .
Oh it is that much, never mind.
