I am talking about houndsman guys who devoted their life to this sport an changed the game for the better, guys who stuck to what they liked not just the next best thing. Guys who are a pleasure to talk to. Guys you know when you drop down with you know whatever their packing is going to be good.

Don Hoog, 1 of the original founding fathers of the AKC MIDWEST, breeder of the year before, bred a many of dogs that became FC but doesn't mass produce so number wise probably one of the best breeders stat or percentage wise in my opinion and much more, I can't say enough good things about this man!!

Not bad for a fella that has spent most of his time breeding grade dogs.

I don't exactly have a top 10 per say, but off the top of my head I have at least 3.

Daddy Rabbit , most likely forgot more than most will ever know about rabbit hounds , Mike Yates when talking patch hounds , these are houndsmen that I've talked with first hand in person. Of coarse SR has a wealth of patch since too.
