Dog box pads

Post by coolbrze »

What type of dog box pads do you recommend? Looking for something that's got some cushion to go in my Owens dog box.

I went to the army surplus store, and bought some light weight canvas. It was on a big roll, and i made my own. They seem to be holding up really good, when they get dirty just hose them off, or take the stuffing out, and wash them.

Intreped,
What do you stuff them with? I did the same thing for use in my dog houses but made them out of the plastic type gunny sacks. Sewed in heavy duty zippers so I could take the straw or the chipped up corn cob bedding out of them to clean BUT the problem I had was the dogs eitjher chewing or scratching them to shreds. They never made it through a winter in their dog houses. I suppose they would work in a dog haul box as the dogs wouldn't be in them so much.

I just used foam. These seem to be holding up pretty good also.
