Thanks! She's a little ball of fire! Hopefully that bold personality transitions into a hard hunting hound!

Very pretty pup... nice houndy head for a female.
Take her for walks where you see the bunnies, sit on your stool and let her explore and come to trust you won't leave her. When she seems uninterested in that spot, walk down a little farther to another good looking spot and have a seat again and let her explore some more. Short daily repetitions is the order for building the team spirit of hunting. Don't over tire her and keep it fun. A baggie of chopped hotdogs tossed a few at a time off into the weeds helps awaken her nose and search desire...
Have fun with your puppy.

Her sire is Autumn's Lemonpatch Tank, which I think is one of reddog's and her dam is Holly Hills Pumpkin Blue Moon Lola.

Lola is a daughter of Pumpkinpatch Blue Moon, who was bred by Plowboy down in Tennessee.

Patchgirl, that little female should make a nice hound. I kept two of her littemate brothers and they are both coming right along.

Good Luck.....!!!!!!!!!!

Rod- We're really happy with her so far. She's got a really intense personality which we hope translates into intense hunt. She seems pretty smart too! Already has learned a couple of commands and she's only 15 weeks! I think she's caught up in size too. Some guys at the beagle club said she was a lot bigger than pups they had that were the same size. She was the smallest in your litter.

We'll keep you updated on her progress!

Yes, Daisy was the runt of the litter. She was also the boldest in the litter. Based on the picture you posted, she looks like she has really filled out. Do as SR Patch previously instructed and I'm confident she'll make a hound you'll be proud of.

Patchgirl, I had Tank on the Island for the last 3 weeks. One day the pack pounded for 5 hours. 2 dogs in the pack were Lilly (tanks Dam) (Gunner) Tanks sire and Tank along with some other fine hounds. I finally had to give Tank and Lilly a rest for the last 4 days. When the pup gets older and you want some time in my running pen, let me know. Send me a pm or call me (517-819-2287). It's on me. I don't live that far from you. Reddog
