Really windy day today. Started off slow but ended up finding rabbits. Nothing better than watching my 10 year old enjoy the outdoors and having fun rabbit hunting. He is getting to the point he wants to go about every time I go. Wouldn't want it any other way. He shot both of these himself. Better shot than me.

hey thats awesome buddy Tri-valley ? We hunted private ground killed 2 missed 2 and the dogs blew up the rest...got some young dogs that are really making me scratch my head this year.....Have'nt been running much putting in 60-70 hours to work since about mid November. should be over in about 2 more weeks though.

I know what you mean Shawn. I was working 60-70 hours a week until the first of the year. Ran my 8 month old pup and her mom today. We ran 7 and Kyler killed two. I didn't even take my pistol out of the holster. Was having to much fun watching him shoot.

is it just me or do the bunnies seem big out there this year ? We've killed some nice ones, noticeably bigger than alot of the private ground spots we shoot.

Thanks Jim ! No Shawn it's not just you. Both of them today were big rabbits. Few of the others we saw were also big ones

Love to see kids having fun hunting with thier dads. I am lucky in thats is how I got my start as well. now both of my boys are talking junk after hunts now as to who is the winner. Great pic keep them in the woods

Thanks ! He and his 14 yr old brother are keeping track of how many they have shot this season. As soon as we pulled in the driveway he ran inside to tell his brother that they are now tied LOL. But he says he has the tie breaker because he got a deer this year and his brother didn't ! They may be a little to competitive . Lol

We all gonna need to get togethor next Saturday and do some more hunting! one more weekend of these classes and the 60-70 hour weeks are over!! unfortunatley only 3 weekends left of rabbit season after that...that new 20ga is 0 for 1 LOL

Sounds good. My boy has Archery at 1pm though. I can hunt before and after that
