First rabbit shot over our pup!

This is the first rabbit my husband shot over our pup six month old Daisy. Cold Michigan morning. The temperature was about 15 degrees, but the wind made it feel more like 0 degrees. Now we know how rewarding it feels to work so hard training a dog and then watch your hard work literally come 'full circle.'

Rod- we couldn't be happier with her. She gets better and better every time we take her out. She's fast too. She was smoking our friends dog who's probably a medium speed dog. However, she gets smoother and smoother every time out. I think her line control will be pretty good. I thought that was encouraging since she's so young. She handles great and loves our kids. Great cross in my opinion. I hope your pups out of this cross are just as good. Thank you.

She is patch bloodline.

I went out yesterday with some friends from Indiana and killed 4. With the wind and low temps. it was a tough go for all of us.

We took our kids with us yesterday and quickly realized it was not going to work with the cold and wind. Steve ended up letting her make a couple of circles while the boys and I watched a movie in the nice warm car.
