I've been told measure them at six months and then add an inch.

i say your looking at a 13 1/2 to a 14 inch beagle. Remember they grow a little after a year old.

With the bloodlines we run when they reach 36 weeks they are pretty much done growing other than filling out. We start measuring them at 12 weeks and they average 1 /4 inch a week up until they are 30 weeks old and then they usually slow down to 1/8 inch for the next 6 weeks. We have done that for years and it is not totally accurate but works for 95% of the dogs we measure. We have done this for probably over a 100 dogs and seems to work for us. We used to run only small dogs so we were very interested in where they were going to end up.
