Got 2 dogs tails I need to band & it's been a while since I did one. You shouldn't run them until the tip & band fall off correct?

I have run mine with the band on and so had a friend of mine with his hound. No issues, just recommend you use some vasiline around the band to help with keeping the area more clean, good luck!!
