Post by matt c »

I am going to start raising my own san juan rabbits and was wondering if anyone had any pics, plans, or ideas on how they built their houses for the rabbits. Thanks!!!

Here's a few pics from my old set up for the does. The bucks I just have in a pen with a roof.

This is the setup I have now. I like it better. The larger pens are holding pens for the young after they are weaned.

PM me your number or email address and I can send a pic of what I switched to. Switched from a mostly wood hutch to mostly wire cages, seems to be working well thus far. Less smell, cage stays really clean and modular setup. Can set the individual cages off on the ground in the grass and they can eat through the cage. Gonna see how it works when summer rolls around.
