Prayers are with the ones who are injured and prayers to their family...

My mom and her friends were at the finish line. They were not hurt. Prayers sent up to those who lost their lives and were injured.

Co-Worker had a sister running in it and she fell one hour off the pace because of her foot....she pulled out of the race due to a foot problem, otherwise she would have been close to the explosion.

Prayers go out to those affected by this.....the world is not what it use to be.

When you're watching the news, notice that right after the explosions, amid all of the people trying to get out of that area, there are a bunch of people that are running TOWARD the destruction. These are police officers, race workers, fire fighters, and just regular Joe's. When faced with horrific atrocities like this, try to notice how many good people there still are out there. Who knows who did this? It could be one crazy person or a handful of them; but there were HUNDREDS that had the courage to respond immediately and selflessly help those who needed it. I believe that the world has more good people than bad and GOOD will always prevail.

Patchgirl,I believe what you said is true,I remember a drill sgt. saying that there is 2 kinds if people,those who run to gun fire and those that run away,I truly believe this to be a fact,this time it was first responders,God bless them all........
