I've heard of him. If I remember right, he goes back to the GAY bloodline. If hes the one I'm thinking of, he had a very successful trial and breeding career. I'm sure somebody else knows about him.

I put a licensed win on Happy Boy about '87. I remember him as being a good little rabbit hound the had a head full of brains. He did'nt let a rough pack rattle him. Bob Fenn who lives in Winnsboro LA owned & finished him. He had wins & Places in Large Pack & SPO both. He was 13" but I don't think he ever produced very many as good as himself.
Go to the SPO website and the folks over there can probably tell you more and put you in touch with Bob. He is a real nice fellow.

I HAVE HIS GREAt grandson i guess that what u call it i just got into beagles this yr he is 15 months old and doin pretty good thinking about running some trials or something probablyhe still needs a little work but has all the hunt in the world in him thx for the replies
