Boot recommendations??

Post by BCBeagles »

Looking into a new pair of boots, have the Muckmaster, and like them.

I would like a little tighter fit around ankle in same kind of boot, any recommendations?

Mucks have really held up as well, I like them, just looking as of right now.

Thanks so much for any and all help!!!

Hate to admit it, but noticed that my fiancé bought me some new Lacrosse Rubber Boots for my birthday. I got on her iPad and seen where she had the order on the cabelas website.

Here they are.

For cooler weather I like the Muck boots Woody Max ect.
they the best I have found. I aways had trouble keeping my feet warm.
these are warm like pack boots . but with out all that bulk. very slim line and extra warm.
all the guys I hunt with wear them now.
I don't have any for warm running but I will get some next year.

I really like the danner boots, I bought my first pair about 3yrs ago. A little after a year of purchase they started to leak. I called danner they asked were I bought them, the code of the boot and asked me to mail them to them. I did they upgraded me to another line threw some unsoles in and scoks and didn't chrge me a dime and I had no recipet. The pair I have now have been great for the past two years and best of all there made in the USA.

Lacross Burly. I do a ton of running and judging in these boots and they hold up great. I wore the bottoms slick on the first pair and they still don't leak.

mucks are warm & dry keep the feet warm even in below 0F weather. only problem is buy the ones that have the snake covering cordura I think, as briars will tear the regular mucks or if you stomp a lot of brush piles. I have never had cold feet in mine or had a leak till i started hunting in a lot of briars that's why you need the snake chap covering just 10-20 dollars more worth it. awesome boots IMOP had mine over 5 years
