I have had to change feed twice in the past few months due to not be able to find the kind that I was using. Right after hunting season I began to feed PZAZZ and I really liked it but after a couple of months I could not get it anymore. Then I began feeding Bartlett feeds and I liked that also, but not as good as the PZAZZ. Both were 26/18. Now I'm trying Diamond 24/20. Can anyone tell me the difference between 26/18 and 24/20? Thanks for your input.

My opinion is the best feed on the market is Diamond for the money. I feed the Premium Adult until the running season starts and then I feed Premium Adult and Hi-Energy mixed. I buy two bags of Hi-Energy and one of the Premium Adult. I mix 1/2 bag of Premium Adult with whole bag of Hi-Energy. Dogs have plenty of energy and keep their weight, you also get alot less stool and it is always firm. Guy down the street feeds anything on sale at Wal-Mart and his dog cannot keep up with mine or last as long.

I have had good luck with 50 % mix of Diamond green bag and 50 % ole roy red bag. Hounds stools same consistency ,look good and solid in rib area run the same. I save about 18 bucks a month on that. I believe last year, diamond changed the formula on yellow bag, and it is not worth the 3$ savings over green. I am paying 17.77$ for 50lb green in Indiana

we are paying $13.75 for 50 lbs of Diamond Hi-Energy and and $16.95 for 50lbs of Diamond Premuim Adult.
If we could get enough people in the Indianapolis area to buy a ton at a time we could save money. There are 40 bags per ton and I could have it delivered to my house and everyone come here and pick it up. I know of 4 or 5 people that would do this but would like to have 10 or 20. I feed 2 or 3 bags per month and know some use more than that. It really would be worth beagle clubs getting together and doing the same thing. Cutting cost is always a good thing. Everyone that would be interested in doing this please e-mail me at

I usually use DIAMOND YELLOW BAG ,,I pay 14.99 a bag,,But to be honest the last 2 bags.... I got gave, the dogs the runs and didnt agree with them to well,,but they had been eating Pedigree mealtime prior to going back to Diamond ,Randy loves feeding Diamond I dont like it to well,,He dont clean up after them everyday,,LOL but honestly I guess Its whatever a man likes to feed,, But price wise I think Diamond is fairly priced and seem to have really good ingredients,,Just my dogs seem happier when Im feeding Pedigree , Shannon

PZAZZ is awsome food if you can get it!!! I fed it to my competition coonhounds, for two years and they thrive on it, and never ran out of gas.
Also there stool was small, dried quick, and didn't stink the place up.
However my partner who was the Michigan dealer passed away, so I switched back to diamond. I like it pretty well.
