A good hard hunt line??

Post by Chase Em' Down »

Looking to breed my indian hills/double turbo male. Would like to add something that has more search and will go through every brush pile and have great check work. That will dig their nose to the ground and when they hit the check gone with it. What bloodlines would cross good with this??
He has decent check and hunt now but he worrys about being competitve and getting the front and schemes through to much in my opinion. wanting to slow that down and use the speed when running the rabbit not at all times lol.

Only a few still around that are full boldstroke. By far the hardest hunting line that was consistant from litter to litter. We have a female that is 7/8 boldstroke, but will never be for sale. Im trying to find another female myself. Going back to the bloodlines that i started with....,,,,.boldstroke and turbo

That's kind of weird Steve, that such a good line would be so hard to find. :D

Wonder why there aren't more of them?

Northway or Reffetts, always puts hard hunt into your pups. Everybody knows that I'm a Shaker fan but if your looking just to put hunt into your litter Northway will do it. If you want hunt, brains, endurance, and control then find a Shaker or Awful Bawlin' male. That will also give you some wheels with control. Lot of good stud dogs on here right now, Clyde of Moonhaven, Beavercreek's Kickaz, Cryon Bo D. , my Recoil, Forest Pond's Slick, and several more. All depends on what you want in your pups.
IF A DOG WON'T HUNT, IT CAN'T JUMP RABBITS!!!
