lighting dogfood

could anybody tell me about lighting dogfood.. a guy in my area is now selling it and he raises bloodhounds and says its good stuff. I feed hi-standard and was thinking about giving the lighting a try.so would like too hear what some of you that have fed it think about it.

Could it be "lightning" dog food? Could not find anything about "lighting" dog food.

I dont know what area you are from but there is a family owned company in Mexico MO called everlast feed company that makes a blend called Lightning. I fed it about 10 years ago and didnt have much luck but i have heard it has gotten better. I also heard they are having trouble with their dryer and thinking about closing the doors so you might want to wait before you change, if this is even the feed you are talking about.

Yeah that's the stuff, if you have your dogs on concrete you probably won't like it. It's a bit cheaper over here if you pick it up.

thanks guys.. think I will just stick with the hi-standard they do just fine on it.
