Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Scott is out of surgery and in ICU for recovery. He is doing good and the surgery went well. Keep the prayers coming. We still need them all. Thanks to everyone, Patrick

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. He is doing good and we are leaving the ICU today for a regular room. Also would like to thank my good friend Stacy Hall for taking care of my dogs while I'm away.

Scott is doing well for what he has went thru. Maybe Tuesday or Wednesday we might get to head home! He still has a long way to go to get back to himself, but I can tell a difference everyday. The doctors compare the surgery to being hit by a bus and he agrees 100%! Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers, as they mean so much in times like these.
I met a gentleman here at the hospital whose young son has bone cancer. He runs traditional brace beagles and has for several years. Please remember his son and family in your prayers also. It has been nice to have someone to talk dogs with here. Even though we run different style dogs we still have a lot in common. Keep the prayers coming for my son and his. Thanks again. Patrick

Getting packed up and ready to head home!!!! Everyone has been great here at Kosair Childrens Hospital but I know he will feel better at home! Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers. Those of you who have been in this situation know what I mean when I say it means so much. Those who have not been in this situation, I hope you never are. Knowing that everyone is praying for you and your child makes it a lot better. Once again thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers!
