When I tried to upload pictures, it said the file was too big. How do I make them smaller?

I use my phone and it said the same thing. I just went into my pictures on my phone and and cropped the one I wanted to upload and it wasn't to big anymore!

I use Photo Bucket as a host site to store picture's. Makes it easier to upload a picture.
To old to cut the mustard, you can always run beagles

I do this even with my phone. I downloaded the Photobucket app and then go from there.
