Dog Silencer Pro Any Reviews?

Post by SMITTY1233 »

Having some problems with kennel barking. I have two big hounds and two beagles. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this product. If so I'd like the good, bad and ugly. I am a skeptic on its ability to work.

This one is a little more than the ones I bought a couple of years ago, but work the same principle. U can buy batteries on e-bay cheap. I take out batteries when not in use as they don't have auto shut off.
Thanks,
Bob

Had one t did close to this one & it didn't work . Somebody offers one that sprays water that's bark activated & I've been told ti works great but that info is second handed . I ended up culling the trouble maker .

These units are not very user friendly, you have to make sure the battery is in right, and the collar is snug on the dog. I have 2 of them and they have not failed me. Not bad for less than 10.00. I always test it before putting it on a dog.
Thanks,

Does extended wear on the dog do anything to the dog. I found on the hard way leaving a shocker on the dog for to long. I was hoping this unit would do the trick but I'm having a hard time finding anyone houndsmen that would recommend the product. I have one bark collar now and notice it doesn't seem to have the same effect leaving it on over days as the shocker does to the dog.

I don't like bark collars. I believe they sometimes get activated from eating. JMO

The ultrasonic units do not work. The water works great but has its issues as well. I could not find any on the market so i made my own.

Looks like that works good as the dogs sure shagged their butts into the dog houses.
