I have four rabbits in the freezer. I usually have my grandma fry them but I want to grill them. How can I? I have never grilled anything so I need all the details. I have a gas grill. Also how can I make the meat tenderer?

Tender on the grill, that will be a real challenge.

Try taking a fork and poking holes all over the meat and soaking it in milk for 24 hours. The lactic (sp?) acid is supposed to be a mild meat tenderizer. Also, milk takes the game taste away in venison so I would assume it might help with rabbit as well.

I would use the lowest setting possible for heat and cook really slow.

Good luck!
Merry Christmas!

I have a 16lb ham in the oven right now. I used Jack and Janice's idea of putting rabbit pieces around the ham down in the pan and baking them together - YUM!!! I can't wait to see how it turns out. :chef:

Grilling? Hmmm, I grilled frog legs one time and they were tough and nasty. In one issue (don't remember which) I think there's a recipe for barbecue rabbit on the grill. I'll try to fnd it.
