First Day Rabbit Season New Jersey

Hey guys great hunt here! Was a bit worried cause of the high winds and the cold in my area, but I did just fine! 3 hours out and 5 rabbits to the gun....Big thanks going out to Brian of Blackdirt Beagles, seeing as that is where my top dogs came from!! Definitely worth the trip from Jersey to Illinois.....All I ever hear is "Where did you get those dogs?" No one here has ever seen the likes of these dogs before! Game warden came out to check on me cause there are so many complaints from the noise LOL!! Great day for me.....How did the rest of you do?Mike

Thanks Adam! Pups are great, eyes are opening up and they are coming to me already, they got big so fast! Dixie is a darn fine mother to those pups! Waiting to see if the colors on them turn so far they are the same.....the dog in the pic Dozer is the sire. Hope they turn out half as good as him and I will be happy!

Waterboy......You know where I am if you want to go on a good hunt come this way....Yours was not so great huh? It will get better once you get your hands on one of them Blackdirt hounds..........Mine sure did
