Anyone have the results

Michigan guys swept the podium

It seems like this is one of the most untalked about championships. I tried to find it on the net after the trial and couldn't find it anywhere. I do know that John Dewyse won big bitches with East lake Olive oil.

I believe arnald wilson won males jon babbit jr took a second, and nbq. think wilsons dog took 3rd too. Steve amen took 4th I also noticed that no one is talking about it. Must have a lot to do with the trial being held in michigan and only michigan guys placing.

I agree this is the only National Championship that is kept secret for a long time
Not only the results but there is no real hype before the trial
Never could understand the complacency of the Large Pack Community

This is a great event & was advertised for all FC's to compete. I respect the Northern Michigan Hare Association for voting 6 of 8 judges in from the Northeast. It takes a heck of a tough hound to do well in this trial. I went to it one year at Wisconsin Timberline & the running was amazing. I just wish the club would have let the handlers in the pen to watch the hounds run. It was still a great experience. It's hard to get a hound that runs cottontail into the kind of shape needed to run hare nonstop for hours.

I found the results in :30. I wasn't at the trial, didn't acted as field trial secretary so I didn't see the full results or I would have posted them myself.

TO WELLSWOODS The AKC Nationals were never held at Wisconsin Timberline. They were held at Borderline and Gogebic Range about 13 or 14 years ago. Someone correct me if im wrong.

akc has a lp division?? it is like arha lp not heard of it .

Butch, you're right, but the hosting club ( can't remember name) used Wisconsin Timberline's running grounds that year for some classes; at least that was the club's running grounds I was told we were at for the 15" males. I don't know one club from another in that area. I think it was 2001. Branko's One Tough Ombre won.
