Not as good for us as years past. Some areas we tried had almost no rabbits. Lots of quail habitat restoration going on in the ken unit. JMO but I'd say it has gone down hill for rabbits. In the 90's it was my most favorite place to hunt and run. Still worth the drive if you know where to go and don't have anywhere else to hunt. You N the bright sid we went through n a Sunday and didn't se nor hear anyone else lee running beagles!

We hunted ken unit across from waterfowl refuge Would not go back there. Dogs jumped one rabbit about 50 yds from road as we were going back to try somewhere else. Ran for an hour before the kid ended its day with his first shot from new gun. So that part was pretty nice, but Overall disappointing. Let us know how you do or did.
