On this hunt here we played with the .410's I don't think I cussed at any gun more than that .410 lol I missed my browning for sure on this day..haha

this was a fun hunt, we spent a weekend hunting down at this location. Rained whole way there and misted half the morning.

Day two it got very windy and super cold. We had a very tough hunt but still did alright.
jan 10th hunt and on this day the scenting was the worst all season long with temps starting out at 8degrees we jumped about 20 rabbits on this hunt. very slow going runs and a lot of loses very frustrating hunt.
headed for SEMO the next day here is a giant Missouri swamper, nothing will every beat West Tennessee swamper hunting but atleast we know where the swampers are in Missouri now.
This past weekend has been record setting. We hunted a private farm up north that we were invited too and had access to more land than a person can hunt. This was prime rabbit hunting property. We were given a place to stay on the farm good food to eat and awesome company to hunt with, even got to ride around on a buggy to different locations on the farm. It was an experience of a life time. Hunting conditions were perfect temps in the 50's and cloudy I haven't seen the dogs running that hard in awhile. Races were big and long and as fast as their little legs could go. Those guys had an absolute blast and we got more access to a few more farms up in that area. Rabbits were coming out two and three at a time it was the kind of hunt you dream of. We were able to get 60 rabbits in 2 days dogs logged on 15hrs of non stop running in 2 days.

On my way home last night I stopped by chad campbells house and picked up this new pup..New blood coming in
I'm still proud of our young hounds though. Got 3 two year old females doing a fantastic job.
