witch line throes better hunt and control ?

Idk about which line is best by itself but when you cross the two you get hunt and line control in abundance just my opinion though.

I'd love to hear more comments on this !!

Depends on the female

I really don't know which but I would use Reggie, a son or a grand son if I was breeding a female.

I got an own son and daughter of reggie and love them and got granddaughter of primetime and cant complain bout her either but if got chance id breed my granddaughter to reggie

I am far from an expert on these lines, have only seen a couple from each, but I think you should take a look at Cereal City Wango Tango. Some Primetime in that pedigree right near you Al. I think Tango crossed with something out of your Charlie dog looks real interesting on paper anyway, just IMHO. You would get a little Heli Prop that Reggie would give you also from him. I would be interested if that cross ever takes place. If you go with a Reggie dog, I have heard good things about Top Fuel Chester. I stay in contact with a guy who has some Chester bred dogs and he has seen him run. He is a believer in Chester. Some Chester bred dogs ran last year at my club's SPO trial, they did real well. Good luck whichever way you go.

Cant go wrong crossing Time blood to Turbo blood Don Hoog figured that out years ago.I bought Isons Colonel Cobalt (Primetime son) to cross over to my Reggie bitches don't know how well its going to work yet but feel I have the deck stacked in my favor.

Have them both and love the cross

I've had two female pups out of Reggie that I raised,trained,hunted and trialed.Never had either one bother anything other than a rabbit.Nice dogs that I liked very much.
Now have two Reggie grand daughters out of two different Reggie sons that have made the better kind of hound in my opinion.Also trash free with the traits I like.I'd say these dogs have shown good hunt and line control.
I would breed to Reggie if possible as he's STILL ALIVE.

I would say prime time is a harder stronger lines. lots of Reggie dogs lack the nose and the bottom it takes up here in Michigan
on the other hand crossing these lines might be the golden ticket

That may be the case but that's exactly why I bred my primetime females to reggie was to add nose and more grit. Funny how dogs in difor rent areas of the country are different.

AL, I see you are going with Reggie himself. I do like the Ninja stuff in his pedigree. Not taking anything away from the other side of his line either. Have had a couple Ninja bred hounds in the past and seen a few go in my trialing days. Most were very nice. Good luck with the cross.
