Stub Barker "Mr Stubs beagles"

It is with great sadness I must report the passing of my good friend Stub Barker. He passed away peacefully at home this morning after a brief illness. Many on here will remember Stub from the northeast LP circuit in the late 90's thru the mid 2000s. He was very competitive, finishing 6 or 7FC as well as 2X NLPC Mr. Stubs Little Bit Fancy. He was a avid houndsmen for nearly 70years with coonhounds, coyote/fox hounds as well as beagles. It was thru his influence I got started in this sport over 15yrs ago. RIP my friend, may the runs be long and check free! Mark Trudell

I enjoyed meeting him when I was up there. He sure loved hounds. Sorry for the loss, praying for the friends and family.

I Remember him and some of his hounds from when I used to trial. He was a true houndsman and the beagling fraternity has lost a great one. R.I.P. and condolences to his family and friends. Jeff S
