Pics of the rabbits i raise (pope rabbits)

Post by wildcatfan0309 »

Heres a pic of the rabbits i raise
Some people have ask for pics so here they r
We turn them loose in our 40 acre running lot
And i used to sell them some getting ready to start selling them again
These rabbits saved us
We was bout to give it up because we have no rabbits around here
And now with these rabbits we r putting 20 + miles a night on our trial dogs
These rabbits are as close to wild as u will find
Ive seen some of my buck rabbits run even better than wild cottontail
And the dogs seem to act like there is no scent difference from my rabbits an wild rabbits also

Can you post or pm me your phone number? I'm interested in buying some rabbits if you have any for sale. Thanks!

Mgb,
Any body who takes good care of thier does and bucks can't sell rabbits for 5.00 without taking a loss. Fact of life. These rabbits have to be fed 12 months a year, and food is not cheap. If u think it is a rip off, raise ur own.
Thanks,
Bob

They r mix of two different bloodlines of redback bunnys
A cross of smokey mountain and another grey rabbit that im sure about
I just gave em a name "pope rabbits" because im not 100% sure
Ive raised hundreds of em n aint seen a bad one yet
All r better runners n more rugged than ive seen anywhere

MGB,
You r correct
I was selling them for 5 bucks a peice not all that long ago
I only had a few does then and my expences wasnt as high as they r now and feed has took a jump
Then i stopped completly selling them
And was stocking our 40 acre running pen with every one i could make.
And the whole time i was doing that i was turning people away left and right
People was begging for em
They had either bought from me before or they had heard about my bunnies from somebody
I could have said 15 a piece n they would have bought them
After spending alot of money of feed and hutches , cages , feeders etc
I decide to start selling about half my rabbits
To the people thats been calling to maybe help pay for the expences
Because you would not belive the money ive got into my rabbit program
And 5 bucks a piece aint even covering my feed now
Bottom line also is they r worth more to me
Because i cant get enuff of em in our running lot
The more the better and if i didnt sell another ever again then thats fine too because to get the running that i can put on my dogs with these rabbits id have to send em to a dog conditioner because i dont have many rabbits around where i live an
I dont care if i sell any to be honest
I havent got a advertizment up
But still get 3 or 4 calls a week
You can pay 10 bucks for a san juan or a big fat white rabbit or you can buy my proven successful adult hound runnable bunnys for the same price
Or better yet ill keep em all for myself lol
Less than 10 rabbits will be $10 a peice
10 or more will be $8 a peice

Im up to 10 brood does now and they r all currently bred to have babys 3rd week of april
West ridege beagles
My number is 6062254837

Thanks for the compliments guys means alot
I aint had alot of success in much of stuff ive messed with but these rabbits are working n im pretty proud of em

I raise rabbits to and at 10 dollar apiece I will not break even. So I do not advertise and people will stop by here wanting to buy some I tell them not to sale but they insist I give them a price so I say 15 bucks and they usually walk away with a few. I believe they buy them to eat.
