agree with everything posted above.. I also have seen a bloodline in my opinion that does not take heat well. dogs look like a million bucks when its cold but when the temp gets 75 plus they are about worthless.

I tried the go dog out and saw a notable difference in the dog i ran. Today we will see how it works on my dog that has the most trouble with the heat, 80 degreees out, will post in a few hours.

running nights is fun and i like it because there's a lot less noise and you can here the dogs lots better, but for heat around here when it starts into the ninety's it don't cool done until four or five in the morning but it is cooler than in the daylight. :angryfire:

Rabbit "season" is from 1/2 hour before dawn until 1/2 hour after sunset here in Michigan. Night running is illegal.

Larry you are right about the hunting season but I think we can train here at night. A couple years ago the coyote guys got the DNR to approve training at night and like when the bear guys got the training season opened a week early I think all dog training falls under the same rules unless specifically listed. At least as far as hounds . I been running nights with no trouble, even in the fall when bow season opens, sure put an end to any conflicts with the bow hunters.
