Indiana's All sporting dog meeting set for July 30

The date is July 30, 2005 in Indianapolis at Gander Mountian. The sporting dog groups of our state are coming together for a historic meeting. All the current active sporting dog groups. Beaglers, Coon hunters, Bird hunters, search and rescue, Retrievers, All breeds, all venues, all sporting dog groups. We have sponsors lined up for door prizes, some of the agenda is set. We are now looking for officers and board members of all the different sporting dog groups to attend the meeting

the purpose of the meeting is to bring all the sporting dog venues together under one roof so we can become more organized and cohesive. We have a new IDNR today under our new governor, they are in the listen mode right now. We need to unite and make changes now while they are listening

some agenda items

extending both Rabbit and Squirrel seasons
right to retrieve law
returning acceptable Field Trialing back on state lands
understanding of each others needs.
building a large block of sporting dog emails and phone numbers for rapid action when needed.
