ASPCA's 2003 State Agendas

This is a good place to inform fellow hunters about bills and other legislation that may jeopardize our rights to hunt and free cast our hounds.

This is a very interesting list. Too bad we don't have the same from HSUS.

Bev and other Hoosiers,
Note the entry to oppose Indiana's Right to Hunt & Fish Initiative. Virginia sportsmen beat HSUS/FFA on this issue in November 2000.

Looking at that list, it appears that there are a couple of states (KY, NV for example) where bestiality is not a criminal act!

not going far right now

Post by jackrabbit »

the right to hunt and and fish initiative for indiana is not going very far it seems. there is disagreement within the indiana dnr as to the wording. our dnr concerns itself with being in control. they fear the way the bill is worded that lawsuits could be filed in order to no longer have to purchase licenses. indiana dnr has opposed this bill untill this year. it was rewarded to include a statement about "within the limits of fish and game laws" and now idnr is nuetral on the bill..... wonder what it takes to get them to support it.....?
