PAWS Meeting - easy way to vote

This is a good place to inform fellow hunters about bills and other legislation that may jeopardize our rights to hunt and free cast our hounds.

PAWS Meeting - easy way to vote

Post by Bev »

There is a meeting scheduled for the Agricultural Sub-Committee, Senator Santorum, Chairman to for the horrific PAWS Bill on November 7. This meeting, at this time, has had been expected, has NO opposing witnesses - only the likes of HSUS, the Doris Day Animal League and the AKC will be in attendance. Such a one-sided spectacle will permit Sen. Santorum to_claim a PAWS public hearing had been held. The following link steps you through a simple process that sends an email to the committee. PLEASE take a second and make your voice heard and stand up for your rights as a breeder.

Bev, Done! Hey guys, everyone do this! I am not currently affected by this if it were to pass today, but I will someday, God willing and I don't want the gummit wandering around in my backyard to see if I'm shoveling my dog's poop if I breed several litters a year. What makes me want to puke ist that my dad is retired from Mine Safety and Health and he was constantly frustrated by bureaucrats who had never been inside a coal mine making unenforceable laws that were imposssible to comply with in the first place. Do you honestly think this will be any different? Besides, that little line on your paycheck that takes money from you and gives it to Uncle Sam will pay the salaries of the inspectors. If they find violations they will live with you until you bring your kennel into compliance, not only by the letter of the law, but in their own biased opinion and you can't do anything about it. Period. Log on and fire back!
