HB 198 has been assigned to Business/Occupational Licenses Committee and SB 53 has been assigned to Licensed Activities. However, we have been advised that both bills are temporarily pulled for revision.



The SAOVA website will be updated with Committee contact information, talking points will be revised as needed, and the revised bills will be posted as soon as they are available.



To date, Rep. Michael P. McAuliffe, Rep. JoAnn D. Osmond, Rep. Patrick J Verschoore, and Rep. Luis Arroyo removed themselves as cosponsors of HB 198. SAOVA commends these legislators for their astute analysis of the potentially devastating impact of HB 198 on responsible dog breeders.
