Indiana hunters must see!!!!

As many of you may or may not the NRC preliminarily approved a rule package that kills all new fox and Coyote enclosures in the state if its enacted. this is what happened at the NRC hearing last Tuesday November 16, 2010.
Most of us went to the NRC hearing at the Garrison at Ft. Harrison thinking the NRC hearing was going to normal fare. The Coyote enclosure issue was up again, DNR's Division of Fish and Wildlife had finally gone out to the one enclosure we have in Indiana and after inspecting it and watching a field trial they came back with very positive impressions and offered the NRC a rule package that allowed enclosures of 300 acres or more. The Alliance was there to explain to the NRC that there was no reason to have a size limit and the rules DNR was suggesting were enough. When we walked into the Garrison the whole scene changed. The day before HSUS had convinced the TV stations that the enclosures were live bait killing fields and without checking out the information they were given, some of the stations ran with it. Also HSUS somehow convinced management at the Garrison to allow HSUS and the Coyote Rescue group to put up a table with their twisted videos right at the entrance to the NRC hearing room. Because of the TV coverage there were about 20 or so "Concerned citizens" that saw the TV coverage and assumed the reports were actual and were there to oppose the enclosures. As the Coyote rule package was being preliminarily adopted one of the NRC members,( We assume either is ignorant of whats going on, or is in the pocket of HSUS suggested a moratorium on any new enclosures be added to the rule package and like sheep to the slaughter the rest of the NRC members went along with it. Now not only does the proposed rule change make 300 acres the minimum, it also stipulates the DNR can not issue any more enclosure permits after Jan 1,2012. HERE'S WHAT THE SPORTSMEN MUST DO.

A) tell the NRC that you oppose a moratorium on new enclosures and in fact feel there should be no restrictions as to size or number.
B) explain to the NRC that those wanting the enclosures banned that testified at the Nov.16 NRC hearing are from other states, and not Indiana.
C) that Indiana does not have what the HSUS and the Indiana Coyote Rescue ladies say we do
D) Tell the NRC that there is no evidence that rules are even needed in Indiana because our sportsmen do not want to abuse any animals.
please do not copy and past the things I've said. DO send the letter and/or the email but put it in your own words.
Call the Governors office at 317-232- 4567. Ask for Betsy or David pippin. tell the remind the governors office that you were promised that no enclosures were going to be banned and you want to know what they are going to do to fulfill their promise.
Call your legislator and explain what happened at the NRC hearing and let them know you want the enclosures left alone. This is an important step. you can get your legislators phone number and/or email Addy from the state legislative website.
Call every sporting group, club, or organization you can, send them this email ask them to help and to send the email on.
This is extremely important the future of all our hunting sports ultimately rests on this issue.
ALSO...let everyone know that the Indiana Wildlife Federation's new president stood with HSUS and the Wildlife Federation opposed our Coyote Dog Training enclosures
